About

We exist for one reason: to make federal procurement work.

Federal procurement is a high-trust, high-compliance, low-tolerance environment. We treat that as the gate, not the bureaucracy.

Aethern Infrastructure was built on a simple thesis. Government procurement — whether at DND, PSPC, CRA, or a provincial / municipal authority — is a high-trust, high-compliance, low-tolerance environment. The agencies that buy from us are accountable to taxpayers, parliaments, and warfighters. They cannot afford suppliers who treat marking and identification as paperwork, information security as optional, or delivery dates as approximate.

We treat them as the gate, not the bureaucracy.

What we do

Aethern is an integrated supply and services partner across four practice areas: defence and naval mechanical hardware, precision and optoelectronic systems, facility and industrial equipment, and federal compliance-driven services.

We operate as a Canadian prime contractor under the CanadaBuys / SRI framework, with delivery capability into federal, provincial, and municipal procurement programmes across Canada.

How we work

Three things define how we deliver:

Engineering source discipline

When the Government Design Control Activity restricts a source, we source from that source. We do not substitute approved parts without documented engineering analysis and ESA-evaluated reverse-engineering reports.

Quality-system rigour

Our manufacturing partners hold AS9100 or ISO 9001:2015 certification as required. We comply with preservation, marking, and shock-testing standards as specified by the contract, plus the technical and quality requirements set out in the applicable PSPC or DND specification.

Cybersecurity and information handling

We operate under PSPC Industrial Security Programme controls appropriate to the contract security requirement, and apply Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) guidance — including ITSG-33 controls — to information systems handling government-protected information.

Where we operate

Headquartered in Canada. Active delivery into Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal agencies.
